i am a big fan of malin & goetz, and was pretty excited when the founders matthew malin and andrew goetz agreed to reveal some of their favorite spots in new york which seem to revolve around chelsea for the most part with a few ventures into the west village. these guys have the perfect modern apothecary, all sorts of fun stuff, very green and lovely. malin and goetz also love dogs, and apparently andrew is an excellent chef putting on put on some must attend dinner parties. personally, though, i really wish i could be one of their lady friends who benefit from gifts from designers they know. nice!
